Rockwell Partner Conference 2022 Recap
Rockwell Automation’s 2022 PartnerNetwork™ Conference, March 21-23 was held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Conference Center in Aurora, Colorado. Over the years, Rockwell has developed the PartnerNetwork™ to provide its customers with an integrated team of engineering specialists and suppliers that are leaders in the automation and manufacturing industry. The PartnerNetwork™ is comprised of seven distinct Partner types, depending upon competency: Digital, Distributor, Licensed Developers, OEMs, Strategic Alliance, System Integrator and Technology.
Attending from Prime Technologies, a Rockwell Automation Technology Partner, were Jim Dale, President and CEO and Don Wildauer, Senior Vice President. The three-day event kicked off with lunch followed by a welcome and executive panel discussion with Rockwell Automation’s President and CEO, Blake Moret. Blake was joined by members of his global management team to lead a keynote panel conversation that included Q&A on a variety of contemporary industry topics.
Day 2 began with a presentation from Dr. Alan Beaulieu of ITR Economics. Dr. Beaulieu’s talk entitled “Plan and Prosper” provided an interesting and entertaining look at current economic trends and forecasts. The afternoon included a joint presentation from Rockwell Automation and Arrow Electronics, who provided an update on global supply chain dynamics. Various breakout sessions rounded out the day.
On day 3 the morning began with an engaging presentation reporting on trends in industrial automation. Later, Rockwell presented Partner of the Year awards to each of the Partner category winners. Then various breakout sessions from day 2 were then repeated for anyone who may have missed their desired session due to schedule conflicts. In short, it was a wonderful, informative conference at a beautiful resort at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
Since 2007, Prime Technologies has enjoyed a long-term relationship with Rockwell Automation. For many years, Prime Technologies provided the software calibration functionality sold as an integrated module available with Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk® AssetCentre. Prime continues to provide our ProCal Calibration Management software to Rockwell customers running FactoryTalk® AssetCentre, where the calibration software can be either custom integrated or implemented as a stand-alone system. In 2017, Prime Technologies was formally named an Encompass Partner and in 2021, Rockwell designated Prime Technologies as a Technology Partner.
