Asset Condition Index (ACI)

The Asset Condition Index is a standard benchmark that is used to assess the current and projected condition of an asset. The ACI is defined as the ratio of required repairs needed for an asset during the current year compared to the replacement value. The ACI provides managers the analytical data necessary to make more informed decisions on various types of assets and the relative level of requirements for renewal funding.
