TULSA, OK, March 15, 2014 – It was recently announced that Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) will expand its use of WebTMA across all hospitals. For more than five years, HCA has utilized WebTMA for work order and preventive maintenance management, as well as Joint Commission and regulatory compliance. WebTMA will now provide benefits in the areas of energy management and capital planning.
HCA’s FacilitiGroup Infrastructure Solutions division saw the capabilities of WebTMA and realized that they were using only a fraction of WebTMA’s potential. After several meetings with key stakeholders from both HCA and TMA Systems, the decision was made to begin a revised rollout of the application in order to truly realize the value of WebTMA.
The value to HCA will be establishing standards to accurately forecast inventory and labor requirements, improve management of assets, and increase resource productivity through the utilization of system tools, including mobile capabilities, key performance indicators, and configurable workbenches.
Dustin Taylor, President of TMA Systems, stated, “We look forward to building upon our strong partnership with HCA. This is an opportunity for both organizations to capitalize on the hard work of its staff, and to maximize the functionality of a technologically advanced CMMS.”
